Part of SS Peter & Paul Parish
Welcome to the Ilford Catholic Club website and we hope that we will see you very soon in person
The club has been in existence since 1924 and has always attracted a wide variety of members and guests. A number of societies have been running for many years, for example football, pool, darts, golf, etc., and new members are always extremely welcome.
The club has recently been extensively refurbished with a new sports bar, main hall (which has its own toilet and kitchen facilities) and an outside garden. The sports bar will provide ample space for 60 people seated, the hall 150 people seated and the outside garden area will allow you and a lot of your friends, to enjoy a drink and the craic al fresco !
The hall and sports bar are ideal venues for weddings, christenings, birthdays (of all ages!) and any other celebration you can think of!
As a visitor, you will be extremely welcome and you can enjoy the experience of the club and the host of live bands we support. Some of the best Irish bands and singers have, and will be performing at the club (Brendan Shine was a great success, with Mick Flavin and Mary Darcy appearing in January and February.) Along with some of the best live bands in the local circuit today (Expose, Turbulence, Anthem, East of Java to name but a few). The club has a very relaxing atmosphere, with a members lounge with comfortable seating and sufficient bar staff to ensure you never have to wait long for a beverage. We have TV screens showing the premier football and rugby games, as well as selected All Ireland sports.
As a member, you can enjoy the benefits of special rate hall hire, participation at Club meetings and take up voluntary positions on the Committee to help further improve the facilities and have a say in the day to day organization. More importantly, you will have the added bonus of a great range of beers, lagers, wines, etc. at a cost cheaper than you would pay in your local pub.
Throughout the year members, and their guests, can enjoy the benefits of all the major events such as St. Patricks’ and St. Georges Day, major sporting occasions, Royal Weddings, organized trips to Newmarket, long weekend "Cultural" trips abroad for the more adventurous, etc.
Be you a member or visitor, the atmosphere, cheap drinks and the ability to meet friends and socialize is the foremost aim of this club. You will regret not taking the chance to savour the club ambience, allowing you and your family to enjoy a hospitable and relaxing time. Alternatively, come along with your friends and enjoy some of the great local live bands!
A day or evening at this club is not to be missed and we want you to be here enjoying yourself from start to finish and be prepared for a late finish!
